Brentford

Brentford is an English suburban town located in West London. It is part of Hounslow, a London Borough. It is located at the confluence between the River Brent, and the Thames. This is 8 miles (13km) west of Charing Cross. In its economy, it has a variety of company headquarters which mark the beginning of the M4 Corridor; in transportation, it has two railway stations and Boston Manor Underground Station on its north-west boundary with Hanwell.

Brentford's centre is dominated by a grid of convenience shops and restaurants. Brentford, at the beginning of the 21st Century, saw the regeneration of its docks and warehouses, including the redesigning of the waterfront to create more economically active shops and townhouses, which includes Brentford Dock. New Brentford was a mixed housing area in the 19th and early 20th century. It is adjacent to the Osterley neighbourhoods of Isleworth, Syon Park, and Great West Road where the majority of large business premises are located.
